NewsPlay AI Privacy Policy

Last updated October 5, 2026

NewsPlay AI gives you a daily news brief that you can read or listen to. This policy explains what information the app uses, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

Other than the town above, we don't collect your location. We don't collect your contacts, photos, or browsing history, and we don't track you across other apps or websites.

Ads and purchases

The free version shows ads from Google AdMob, marked "Ad", among the stories. To show and measure ads, Google's ads software may collect device and usage information (such as your IP address, approximate location derived from it, device type, and ad interactions) under Google's privacy policy. We don't ask for your advertising identifier and don't use it to track you. Where the law requires it (for example in the EU and UK), the app asks for your consent first; there you can change it any time in Settings → Remove ads → Privacy choices.

If you buy an ad-free plan, the purchase is handled by Apple. We only learn which plan is active (free, monthly, or lifetime), never your payment details.

How we use it

Only to build your brief, keep your settings, and fix problems you report. We don't sell your information or use it for advertising; the ads in the free version are served by Google AdMob as described above.

Services we use

Keeping and deleting your data

Your daily brief is kept until the next day's brief replaces it. Your account, preferences, and feedback are kept until you delete your account. To delete everything, open Settings → your name → Delete account in the app. Deletion is immediate and can't be undone.

Children

NewsPlay AI isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above.
